maybe, in all actuality the ski didnt delam it was a purely cosmetic thing which didnt effect the overall performance of the ski, it had something to do with the ink, so, short answer, yes, but only time will tell
i've heard that they reinforced the tips where the delamming issues were coming from...i have never heard anything about the ink being the problem...but i've read somewhere that they beefed things up a bit, but still retain the same butter zone qualities n shit...so as far as im concerned they did fix the problems but only time will tell right?
yea I too heard the switched inks cuz what they used last year didnt hold the laminant or whatever, I dont see how they could have like almost all the invaders they made come back for warantee and not fix it so they must've
for 06-07 models, the delam is fixed, the problem was that the link in the tip that connects the edges was shitty because it was made in China, but this year all line skis were made in the K2 factory and they actually moved the joint to the side and reinforced it so that it would not break. It should be a kick ass park ski this year!
oakley kid...the issue last year with the "delamming" has been know by everyone for a long time because jason levinthal explained it all on here a while back...it was the ink between the topsheet and core laminate...it somehow didn't bond properly with the glues and caused shit to start falling apart
still made in china only difference is now it's in a actual ski factory (k2's) as opposed to the random factory line attempted to turn into a ski factory last year.
i like how people think just because skis are made in china they suck...the quality is just as good as anywhere else they could be built...but because they are built there they can offer their skis to the public for a lot cheaper...perks of low labor costs
man, seriously, if you're not going to read a thread or post without knowing WTF you're talking about keep your fucking mouth shut...the delamming issues on the invaders was fixed for this season and will not be a problem anymore...do some research, or maybe learn how to read first buddy
