currently,im living my life by waking up every morning,taking a shower and sitting on the couch and coming on here as i am unemployed right now,and i go out at night,im nocturnal i guess

I hate the 'punks' nowadays. Everyone is trying to join the 'Anti-conformitists'. They think that by listening to MXPX and wearing an anarchy shirt they are all of a sudden a Punk... well FUCK THAT.

I don't really have a set moral code to live my life, I think I just try to have respect for people in general, I guess I've come to realize that there are more important things in live that just getting laid from some chick you hate, and disgrading other people so you can feel good, self-degredation is much more satisfying. on that note.

I think I'll be buying a cane in the near future. I spent a lot of time trying some out at walmart. I think I'm going with the green checkered one. yep.

i just live my life how i wanna live, i know alot of people they are always searching for something higher or the answer to something and never really live the day, so that's what i do, i do what i love to everyday whether it's skiing or mountain biking or hiking. Just live your life how you want, you need to escape from the money and politics of everything once in a while

And lately I've been trying to understand the 'moralality' of love. I've been looking at canes too, but non of the girls I like are at that stage yet. So is it right to fall in love with someone, who doesn't yet know what love is? And while you're aware of the 'pain' that often goes with it? Or am I simply rationalizing my fear? Or am I justified in thinking that maybe I don't actually want to love a girl, but rather but just posses her heart, for something I can use to demonstrate my successfulness in life to this western butcher of a culture?

Sometimes among my peers (I'm 17), I feel like I'm 12. And sometimes I feel like I'm 50. So is it right to be a girls first love if you want her top be your only?

As for general morality, I try to respect the begger as much as I would monk, as much as I would a CEO, as much as I would respect an emotional cunsellor (sp?) as much as I would a stripper. Because in 5 years, in 50 years, in 500 years, in 5,000 years, in 50,000 years, what will my pride be worth. I welcome humilty for the same reason I wear orange underware, because, why the fuck not?

But the thing that gets me the most is what a mockery of Life this world is. The mass manic, rapid cosumption. The horribly ugly and false 'Beauty'. And not so much the wars, but the ignorance, because the ignorance of humanity seems to be what allows people (myself included) to hate other people.

there is one notion i keep in mind that helps me deal with the many different types of people i interact with every day. that notion is that every person is different, but it is these differences that make life interesting.

i myself don't particularly believe in one 'god', but i know many people that do.. i don't treat these people as inferior to me, and at the same time, i don't tell them that what they believe is wrong. i don't have any evidence to prove that what i believe is any more right, or any less wrong than what they believe.

nobody has empirical evidence that can definitively prove god does or doesn't exist. because of this simple fact, we as humans should accept that each one of us holds a different system of living.

for me it's all about acceptance, understanding, and compassion. for you, it may be all about proselytization.. and that's fine, but i prefer to let others make their own decisions.

I'm probably one of the older ones on this site(a distinction hard to admit) and if you want life and how it is lived I've got stories. I think that is what life is all about having stories for other people to enjoy. I've been from coast to coast hiked in the rockies as well as the appalachians, enjoyed visiting several countries and experienced many cultures with a wide variety of people. My life has been great even the bad parts where I learned lessons I'll take to my grave enriched me. Love everyone we are all the same the only difference we have with one another is we think there is a difference. Race, Sex and Religion should not be how one judges a fellow judge on the emotion and fellings you hold individually and recieve individually. I don't really believe I follow a system, I just do what makes my family happy. I do follow most of the laws we have in our country, but I break a few every now and again.As far as hating on hippies why?? have you ever smoked with a hippie?? do it and you'll find them to be the nicests easy going people on the planet.I could go on but I'll stop. We should start an NS for old folks for members over the age of 30.

carpe diem! i try to live each day to the fullest. i try to be the best person i can be. i try to give a smile to anybody on the street. i try to let things just roll off my back, there is no point to getting angry or staying that way, i am not going to waste my valuable time complaining. i dont know how much time i have. respect is also a key in the way i live i try to show it everywhere yeah i might make derrogatory comments but people know not to take them to heart. i hope on my tombstone it says 'helped make the world and himself better'

i'm not really'living' as i have to go to school everyday, but basically i try to be as positive as i can, and have as much fun as possible no matter what i am doing. i've found that being immature helps you to have a lot more fun. even if something isnt funny , perhaps even completely stupid, i'll laugh at it, and even if i'm at somewhere i hate, like school, i try to still find ways to have fun, most of those ways involve me embarassing myself but who really cares. as for morals, i am a christian, so i try to live my life like i think Jesus would. Basically just approaching everything with a positive mindset, and having fun, even if i would rather be somewhere else. i try to be as open minded as i can, and i try not to discriminate against people. i try to look at everyday as a good day, and live life to the fullest, have as much fun as i can, be as immature as i can, while living out my beliefs to. I cant really put how i try to live life into words well, but things in order of importance to me are God, family, friends, with fun or contentedness or joy (choose your word)mixed in there. yaay, life is good.

I'm in engineering school because I want to be. I want to have a job when I grow up that will allow me to help people and/or the evironment while allowing me to live the style of life that I want to live. I think that people who judge others based on how many cars are parked in the driveway and how many square feet the house is are hard to understand. Sure money has benefits, which I admit I enjoy, but life is not about how much is in the bank which many people seem to think it is. I think that the purpose of money is to go on adventures to have stories to tell like the guy above said. Because really, after you're dead what remains are the memories that people still have around of you have. If you had interesting stories to tell and lead a cool life your kids and grandkids, and maybe even great-grandkids will remember you as an awesome person.

To get where I think I want to go, I make the best of every situation. Sure I lose some ski days or super nice days where I could play frisbee with my friends all day sitting in class, but the things I learn in class are interesting and help me understand the way the mechanical world works. When I'm not in school I travel, frequently alone, and try and experience the world for how it is.

Even though I'm not religious, I believe in the treat others as you'd like to be treated rule. It seems like a pretty logical way to live your life. I don't let people whose opinions are different than mine bother me. I listen to thier ideas and try and understand why they think the way they do because it gives more insight to me into the way the world works.

I'm done now, and sorry this was so long.
