might wanna think some of those thoughts over..."dont ski very much". the kid skis everyday and has worked harder than you to ski (no offense). and misty7, he cant ski as much as some people. only a few days a week because he has a JOB...some people need to work their ass off to ski.

and i believe that fetus isnt talking about "east coasters". theres alot of good westerners or east coasters that went west a while ago. such people that arent on newschoolers that have never been mentioned are decker, logan, bernie rosow, garret russel. they fuckin slay and they arent on ns to rep themselves like you do for your own crew. ATA this, ATA that, cosco this, cosco that. if you werent on ns, you wouldnt be getting repped. thats what fetus is trying to say. if these kids spent so much time on ns, they would be all over it

and another thing, some of you guys talk about east coast and naturally we cant ski pow and shit like that. have you ever seen a meathead movie? they are somehow skiing 3-4ft dumps all over. people like will wesson go to the chic chocs in canada, ski pow, and come back with fucking ill pow skiing that is the shit youd see in a damn pro movie thats filmed out west. open up your mind, the entire east coast isnt southern vt, new york, new jersey. some places get the snow, and people are always shredding

I dont think thats how it went. you made a blind statement that pissed me off at the time. Its what you said not what you didnt.. half those kids moved west few years ago anyway...

The main thing is that the point I was tryn to make is totally lost. I think there are kids out there from allover (west/Canada /Scandinavia/Europe/Japan) that kill it. hardly anyone mentions these people b/c they aren’t active ns member. there for they dont get any hype on there name there. if you dont agree then you are just down right out of your mind. And if you still dont agree just wait for another unknown to blow up out of no where (it happens every year)

i dont ski much? ha.. youre right, I only ski about twice a month sometimes less if im not feeling it.

jea, what about the kids who cant afford acadamies. it seems like all the up and comers are comming out of acadamies thats prices are fucking unbelievable. no offense to these kids becasue they are all dope but corey, philipi, marion,clarke, lj, and a bunch of other up and comers are all out of acadamies. i have mad respect for the kids who are out showin people up who are just training by themselfs in thier shit park. for instance the bristol crew.

for sure, i used to ski with him at holiday. he was prety sick but all he did was like backflips. he left and like 2 years later the next time i saw him was in high five. the acadamies are too effective, there is no way for an average kid to compete with them.

Some people have lives other then skiing, im 19 and il be done with college when im 20. I worked my last two winters doing CO-OPs, and went on NS maybe once a week. I had one day a week to ski, and creamed my pants each week when i went.

And walker go back in this thread and read what i had wrote, becuse i dont think you have. You commented on my shit first, and all i siad was FUCK NS. I didnt say you where a bad skier, i siad there was better people then the AMs named. Then you posted some shit about what i wrote. Get use to people saying and doing things you dont agree with.

If they feel they are good enough then they know what to do and that is move over to the big resorts where the comps. happen. The reason they aren't being reconized is because of their location. If they want to be, make a sponsorship video or make the effort to move to a place where they will be noticed. But yeah the people across the pond kill it.

I think the Field Crew guys are Insane so much fun to watch, and Hornbeck and Wiley are both super dope too. I wouldn't say that Walker and Cosco are over rated, just over hyped cuz they are way sick, thats just all anyone talks about cuz they are like right here. I would like to see them get in the BC tho and do some new stuff. You can't call the best AMs in my opinion because I know like 3 guys that will drop 50 foot cliffs in a blink and pull lincolns backs and front off of them,and I doubt Cosco or Walker would do that. But these guys have no switch game in the park either. Theres alot to look at. Lifes not about the park all the time, neither anywhere else, but a good balance is good.

So I say hornbeck just cuz I saw him do a huge cork 10 to overshot death in utah, so he is my hero.

Matt Margetts is nutty as well, I'm suprized we don't hear much about him.

this is one of the rare comments that points out skiing is more than park.

i think the top amateurs shouldn't be just these park skiers that everyone mentions. they are great skiers in the park, but park skiers come in handfuls. you need to look into the people who are doing it all. they may not be able to do a switch 10 holding the grab most of the way, but they can ski tech lines, and land tech tricks in powder.
