Replying to Ride snowbards have skate wheels for sidewalls

Ride is taking cues from the skate industry with its solution to the vibration issue. The brand’s new urethane-sidewall technology, known as Slimewalls is more forgiving than standard sidewalls and is available in the Mobility series. “The urethane sidewalls are just like your skate wheels,” says Ride Marketing Manager Tara Miller. “The hardness of the Slimewall fine-tunes the way your board interacts with the snow, wood, or metal surface you slide on.”

do u think this would work or is it a gimmic and why noy use them for dampens inside the board on the edge?
