Is it just me or is he like kinda stylie. I have to say after seeing him in Booter Crunk, Corduroy Trailer, and around park city he is one of the most styly skiers out there. and thats all that should matter. Im usually not one to even care to much about pros and stuff I just get movies everyyear to see whats going down and to get pumped but he is one to get stoked on.
if your style is bad your tricks are also. without style it doesn't matter what tricks you can do because even if its some double cork 1440 thing its going to get boring super quickly without style. but also it goes the other way around if you have no tricks then style won't really matter.
they probably have similar style because they used to be lifemates, sharing a one bedroom apartment and generaly spending lots and lots of close time together.
I have to disagree its a different type of style for sure. but they ski together like everytime they ski. and both kill it its like they work off of each other.
i agree although i have always felt that style is what people use as an excuse because they can't spin a lot. Someone doing a 1440 or 1620 would be much harder and therefore cooler, than a "stylie" or "steesy" 720. I know for me personally, I want to get as many spins in as possible vs. trying to "grab" my skis. People seem to cheer more for me when I do more rotations.
i guess it's all about what floats your boat. but the general public, i.e. those not really into newschool skiing, is definitely more impressed by more rotations. tends to be just us who think that style is really important. personal preferences determine it; what you want to put into your tricks, and what you want to get out of it.
personally, i prefer style over spin to win. and dylan and kyler are killers style wise. the eleventh hour was the first ski movie i watched and it definitely made skiing look cool to me. it was dope.
hahaha thats beautiful and for the kid that says he thinks people are more impressed by seeing 1440's thats dunb. Fuck that be steezy personally I prefer just steezen it. It works. The judges like it to. So word to STEEZE. I couldnt disagree with you more but its alllll good.
I heard he isnt gonna have much style this year because he quit drinking. and everyone knows style comes from being intoxicated. and he steals people's ice cream..... grrrr
