i'm pretty sure it's sarcasm what they are saying dude... obviously new found glory, avril, simple plan and good charlotte are emo pop.emo pop. and everybody stop fuckin bashin people and saying what is and isn't punk. who the fuck cares what you listen to. people classify music like they classify life. always with the divisions. punk is just a term derived from the original crew which in turn sounds nothing like today's punk. the clash, sex pistols, ramones... they sound nothing like today's punk. who is punk you ask? i'm not punk. punk is not somebody who walks around with spikes and studs. punk is a type of music that spreads to wide over different types of music. in a way, we all listen to or have listened to one sort of punk or another, whether you know it or not.

i can't believe you assholes. not considering someone 'punk enough' because of a band they listen to? what the hell is wrong with you people? it's not your job to classify the tastes of a certain kind of music! people have their own ways of self expression which can be very hard to find in such a commercialized/conformity driven world. at least lagwagon listens to the ataris instead of even more MTV endorsed bands like blink or nickelback or some shit like that. if you're going to label, don't classify people on their music taste, classify them on their thoughts and ideas.
