Im trying to download videos from bit torrent, and whenever i try to play them under windows media, it comes up as an audio file. Says its AVI. Anyone know what to do? thanks.
get media player classic... it plays everything. its simple, easy to use, streamlined, doesnt come with spyware, powerful, and doesnt come with a bunch of random crap you don't need.
I use The Core Media Player. I would recommend using that, it can play basically any format of video. Also get the K-lite codec pack. It has all the codecs needed to play videos of any kind.
Yeah just get the divx codec, but not the divx player, unless you want it, all you need is the codec and windows media player can use it to play the .avi files
