So i got back last night from a two week trip to Europe with my friends traveling all through the country. We went all over the place from Amsterdam, to Italy, to London and many places in between. It was the craziest and best trip i'll probably ever experience so i'd thought i'd share some of it with everyone if anyone cares.
First day we fly into Amsterdam and of course start the trip out right by having a few beers at the airport. The day went on and we went down to the city and explored the red light district for the experience. Absolutely rediculous. For those of you who have been over there you know what i'm talking about when i say the red light district is insane. Prostitutes are in individual rooms with a single glass door at the front. They all stand there beneath the black light and do their best to get you to come inside (no pun intended) and drop a few euros. A few kids we were with decided to do it and paid the whores. apparently one kid, Eric, pulled it out and busted one all over her face. she was mad and kicked him out haha. so then we went to a coffee shop and smoked a bit where the weed costs roughly 13 bucks american for an eighth of probably the best you'll ever smoke. i'm not much of a pot smoker, but i think i'm still high from that one day. Best part of the first night was this kid that was along on the trip named Andy (imagine the 40-year-old virgin at age 19). This kid was the most awkward person i'll probably ever meet. For some reason he came out with us on the first night but halfway through the night decided to go off on his own. This was the last time any of us would ever see him. The next morning we hear that he got arrested (in amsterdam, which is nearly impossible) after getting extremely drunk/stoned/probably coked out of his mind with a hooker and started throwing chairs at cars in parking lots and screaming extremely loud. Andy is now a legend.
After two days there we went to Heidelberg, Germany and Munich, Germany over 2 nights. In Munich we happened to be there the last day of the World Cup so the place was already a huge party. We went to the Olympic stadium that night and watched the game on the jumbotron with roughly 30,000 drunk crazy fans including myself. Italy won and since we were pulling for them, it was only appropriate to go party and drink.
Next was Vennice, Italy where we didn't do too much but hang out on the beach and drink some more. so that was that.
Then we went to Switzerland which is now my favorite place in the entire worls. It's about the chillest place on the planet and the mountains are incredible. here's a little shot of the scene outside where we stayed...
Paris was next and to our luck once again it happend to be the France Independece Day so we went to the eiffel tower and watched about the coolest firework show i've ever seen with all of Paris. On the way back every single person in Paris it seemed was trying to take the subway so our hated American asses squeezed in along with everyone pressed against the window of the train. i'll put up a picture later of this because it was rediculous how packed this was.
Last two days of the trip we were in London. First night there we were in the hotel drinking when we met these three security guards. They joined us drinking and we come to find the the Red Hot Chili Peppers were playing right across the street from our hotel and these 3 guys were the bands security guards. They offered for us to come along to the sold out show the next night which the last night for us in Europe. So entirely free of charge except for the round of beers we bought them we walked pass the mass crowd of people waiting to get in to Earl's Court and straight backstage into the pit where we watched front and center the red hot chili peppers in London.
So now i'm back in Colorado jet-lagged as fuck. but that was my trip to europe. thank you.
