NEVER GO TO SUNLIGHT ITS TERRIBLE
sorry but i hate that mountain
ohhhhh and never never ever miss 36 hours of keystone
one of the best events for me atleast of all ski season
so bad ass keystone is open for thritysix hours in a row
you can ski all night baby
most def road trip worthy
Vail(once get away from all the snotty rich people with furs and lepord pants),Keystone,Breck is wack(unless your a park rat)! not very challenging and way overcrowded!!
I have skied CO for my entire life and have skied a lot of places
For great powder (depth will depend on the year) go to Silverton, Wolf Creek or Monarch
For a great park go to Buttermilk, Breakenridge, Keystone, Vail.
for good overall go to Snowmass, A-Basin (not a great park, sick skiing though)
Park wise
1. BRECK
2. Copper
3. keystone
4. Vail
5. Buttermilk/Aspen
6. Winter park
7. Beaver Creek
8. A-Basin pre season and Late season only
I dont know the park situations down in So Col but if theres a list of those I would like to know.
crested butte has the most challenging terrain out of pretty much all of the colorado mountains, but you have to watch the snow pack cause if vail, aspen and keystone are having a great snow year, cb is usually lacking snow. and when CB has a great snow year the other mountains are usually lacking. this is because cb is on the other side of the mountains and the storm usally go one way or the other
