I've been looking around, and havent been able to find much about cutting the plastic. What has everyone's experiences been cutting HDPE (I'm planning on using 1/2" thick sheets)? I have a circular saw with a plywood/plastic blade, but I am not sure as to how it will work. Does the plastic cut well or are there significant difficulties?
A very fine toothed blade for a circular saw should work as well as anything. I suppose you could use one of those blades that doesnt even have teeth. Idk if they make em for circular saws but its for cutting metal and you would proly ruin it but it for its original use but it would likely be damn good for plastic. If you want a hack saw I'm sure would work slowly, or a recipro saw with a fine toothed blade.
