i build a rial with my dad and at first it slid good but now its sticky and my edges dig in on every try it also has EMT ingraved on it in tiny letters but that that is not what im falling on i want to know what type of meatel this is and aslo what meatel should i use to replace the bad meatel

it just means that when you try and slide you don't slide, you stop dead and fall on your face. get yourself a steel rail and you should be all good.

an easy rail that's good for your backyard is just getting a 20 ft. ladder and putting it on its side. I have been doing that in my backyard for the past couple days, i got 2 of them so it is 40 ft. total, put them up on some blocks so it forms sort of gap rail, and there you have it. Just don't use aluminum rails.

i found that type of metal too that you're talking about. i took my ski off and tried to slide it up and down on it, but the bases stick to it. it's nasty.

Electrical Metallic Tubing — EMT (ferrous metal)It is a type of metal they use in Electrical work. If i doesnt slide, get somthing else, like steel.

Now, whenever i see a good piece of metal I always ask if the person needs it after they are done with it. Today at school, there was this rack for cothes that was old and shitty but it was so good for a rail and i askedd my teacher if i could have it after they were done with it (after the play) and tshe said they would use it again next year. From now on, im always gonna ask, hopefully illl get something instead of resorting to pvc.
