French Defacing American Graves

If you have ever look at a map of Paris, there are absolutley huge portions of the city taken up by cemetaries. Some of those cemetaries are filled up with American and British soilders.
Some French lowlifes have stooped to a new levels of depravity and have written grafitti and defaced American memorials and graves in the cemetaries. This just makes me pissed, if France is given any authority in shaping pre war Iraq I will beat up any fool on Salomons. Well, thats just a joke but you see me anger.

Those weren't just American graves. The world does NOT revolve around the United States you know... Candians, British, American, French, and many many others are buried there. And I believe it was Germans who defaced the memorials, not the actual graves. There were Nazi signs drawn and 'Death to America' written in German.

Oh and how can you judge an entire country on a few dissillusioned people? By saying that France should not be allowed in on anything with this war because of this incident is like saying all Americans should die because in they killed 1,000,000 people in Vietnam, or how about the thousands of murders commited in the states... or what about all of the cases of rape? Should the United States not be allowed into the UN because some of their citizens are in cults or enjoy killing young girls after the yrape them?

NMK... did you even read what he said? Or did you just get to the part where he said 'American' and flipped out. He specifically stated that they went after American and British graves. The graves are clearly marked with country of origin. And just because they were in German and marked w/ swastikas does not mean that they are Germans, my grandmother can speak German, does that make her German even though shes Polish?

there is such a thing as gratitude, and the most seasoned historians will tell you that the British, and Americans bailed the Frenched out of WWII, and then they deface the graves of the soilders that TRULY helped to liberate their country from the Nazis. Fuckin a some of you are stupid, I know that Canadians and British and Americans are buried there.

Yeah, defacing graves is not cool. Even if you disagree with out politics now, that's no reason to deface the graves of the people who IRREFUTABLY liberated France and Europe, along with all the other Allies. No way can those soldiers be called anything but heroes, and getting back at our modern day numbnuts government through disrespecting true heroes for all of humanity is bullshit.

YA to prove the moronity of the people who did that, those were Commonwealth graves, abosolutly NO americans were burried there. But even if they managed to get past their immense stupidity and spray paint an american grave it would still be stupid because they are baisicly saying they would rather have Nazis ruling Europe, were all Jews, gays, socialists, anybody not white, or anybody who didn't agree with the party line, was executed. But also don't paint the entire country with the same brush, some Americans have defaced mosques and done some other stupid and offensive things but i don't think every american is an offensive moron.

switzerland - now there's a country with the right idea's. how they managed to pretty much stay out of all the wars in Europe is beyond me. (well, this is what I was told by the education system... if they did do some fighting they sure didn't mention it to us)... anyone know when the last war Switzerland took part in (if any?).
