Ok - I have too many skis so its time to get rid of some
FOR SALE is a unique pair of last years LINE Elizabeths. I wont give all the blurb about the skis as I imagine if you are on this site you already know what they are except to say that they are Eric Pollards best ski to date.....
dimensions: 139-110-137
This pair is a pre-production pair made for the demos before the season (but not used at demos - only by me!!). As such it is HIGHLY superior in quality to the ones that were availible in the shops. It has a cool matt finish to the topsheet and most importantly a die-cut p-tex base. Not that cheap crappy one they put out in the stores. They are mounted with a pair of Rossi p10 binding for a sole lenght of 305 but they can be adjusted a lot. The skis were well used last year but i worked in a ski shop so they were also extremely well looked after. Please send me a message and i will e-mail photos to you.
The edges are not cracked and all major scratches in the base have been filled and base grinded so they are smooth.
The skis are in England and i dont think it would be worth shipping them too far but i can always find out if you are super interested in them. The price is £150

word up on the Canadian pairs being supremely better than the chinese ones. They are stiffer too.

It wasn't the fact that they were made there so much as how they were made there for pre-season samples vs. the retail ones they stamped out with extruded bases and softer non-maple cores and cheap topsheets.
I felt totally tricked though I didn't find out about it until recently because I never sold the chinese Lizzies in my store. But I recommended them to kids online left and right after skiing a bunch in '05 on the Canadian made ones that rocked.

i have canadien line elizabeths mounted with fritchi freerides, there is some base damage, no top damage, except where the look bindings ripped out. you probably cant mount regular bidnigs on them you will have to rock the bc set up. quite possibly the sickest backcountry ski for little people plus i even have skins trimmed for them in the usa if someone is interested.
