How do u build up your confidence?

ok welll i am in a huge slump with my hitting(baseball) most of u probobly dont care but i need help on building up my confidence.....my swing is fine its just whenever i egt up now i am all nervous and anxious and i just have no confidence so any tips on how to build up my confidence?

see yourself hitting the ball. or see things happening about 3 seconds ahead of time. thats how i keep myself under control on stage when i play guitar.

Stop thinking about it. Go up to bat with a clear head and swing like you're not trying to impress anybody or hit a home run. If you don't think about it, it comes easily (as long as you have the basic talent to do so).

picture yourself making good contact with the ball and having a good hit, think about what it is that made you hit the ball well, and then when you go up to bat, dont think about your mistakes or how you have struggled lately, just focus on the details that you just pictured, and if you focus and follow through with what you pictured chances are you will be successful. thats what i try to do for every sport i play. ohh and just focus but do what you have to do to relax. dont put too much weight on your shoulders that you absolutely have to hit a long ball or that you must get on base because chances are you wont be relaxed and as a result not successful (which is your case and most peoples cases) Dont think about the pressures at all, just think about making good contact and focus really hard on it and good things will happen.

^ then with a couple good hits you will become more confident. then the nervousness and anxiety goes away

the same thign was happening to me a little while back, and what kinda helps me is when the pitcher is getting set, and hes going to throw the ball, clear your mind and say to yourself in your head, hit hit hit hit hit, keep your eye on the ball and make good contact, and you've got yourself a hit

when ever im in a slump hitting i have someone throw me some slow pitches and i just clear my head and hit them all very fair. Sure they are slow but then you just do the same thing in a game, just know that youtr ready to hit, make sure your loaded up and then fucking hammer one. Just think to yourself about how slow this pitcher is throwing compared to like randy johnson and tell yourself how easy it is to see the ball and then hit it.

just go practice by yourself or with a friend or two where there is no pressure. also try not to think about it and get amped up.

go to hogwarts and get some of the luck potion. it helped firenuts with his broom flying confidence, im sure it can help you with baseball.

I was recruited heavily to play in college and shit and just go back to the basics. Fuck waht everyone told you aobut keeping your head in and weight back and all that shit. Do what you did when you first started. See the ball hit the ball. don't make in complicated

my parents pay my friends by the hour.. dont focus on the pitcher holdingg the ball, think about where your going to hit it, and focus on that. According to Jason Giambi it is better if you dont look at the pitcher or the ball until he is about to throw it.

i have the same problem..but thats the beauty of baseball..i have a game everyday.so i just stoped thinking about it and just spent a lot of time with my dad at the batting cages and im back hitting .365 and batting 4th
and my team is in the babe ruth world series so thats chill
