Arv for me?

alright i have used the searchbar to try to find the answer to my questuion but i had no luck. im looking for a powder ski basically, i will be using this for some eastern skiing, but mainly my skogens. so im 6'0-6'1" tall and i weigh about 180 pounds, and i would be buying the 185. so would the arv be ok for me to use as more of an all mtn powder that can handle high speeds and fairly tight places with some smaller cliff hucks without flopping all over the place? i dont have a lot of money and i have the possibilty to get some arv's for cheap.

oh yea also what years were they the stiffest/softest?

you might be a little big for them. A line prophet would probably be a better choice

from what i have read, the stiffest were the 03-04, and the softest were the 05-06. they are also wider by a few mms. I believe it was changed from a 92 waist to a 95 waist. not completely sure though.

165 has 90 unerfoot 175 has 92 and the 185 has 95

Yeah, they are REALLY soft. I've never skied them though, so I'm not sure how they ski.

no the 04/05s were too soft, they had complaints about that, so they stiffened them back up again for 05/06 and it is the same ski for 06/07, but the originals were the stiffest, though not by a whole lot. BTW i have a pair of 185s for sale. still in plastic, PM me if interested.
