What is your opinion on killy? its seems to be a love/hate situation with people. i have only been there once preseason so i cant contribute much. I'm probably gonna go there during christmas break or feb break next year. has anyone heard of improvements or new rails or anything like that.
Watsup fatty...its evan. I've been to Killington 3 or 4 times, but probably 2 or 3 yrs ago. Anyways, they have awesome parks and generally good snow, but sometimes a lot of annoying ppl. I'd say its generally good but a lil overrated.
i've been skiing killington a.k.a kmart for quite a few years and cant do it anymore. i really cant stand that place. way too overated, way too packed, too many kids on trails that they shouldnt even be on, just all around pure craziness. this past winter i got snagged two separate times in a lift line bc the guy (a foreigner) checking passes didnt think the pic on my pass was me....well asshole i cut my hair so yeah it doesnt look anything like me plus the pic was like 2 years old. both times they literally made me take my helmet and goggles off to 'examine' me. i was soooo pissed off. needless to say i didnt buy my seasons pass from them for this upcoming season!
chill on the foreiner lift checkers sometime they dont think my pass is me either but i just deal with it no need to not buy a pass for that reason. They are just doing there job and there had been alot of fake passes and other incedents over the last few years. Those guys work prity hard.
But as for the mountain itself.. there is some decent terain and good woods if you know where to go. The parks or prity good the jumps have good shape most of the time but can get firm now and then but its understandable its the east coast. They have alot of rails which are all decent. The guys on the park crew keep all the lips in good shape all day. Overall its a good mountain but it can get crowded but the crowds can be avoided if you know what your doing.
Killys dope, dont be hating. Every mountain has gay people, hell new yorkers are everywhere. Killys got some nice people, good snow, trails, lifts...good for the east. I perfer Sunday River to it, but both are my favorites.
