i really didnt care too much if people used poles or not until now.
in the show and prove trailer kye takes flailling of the arms to a whole new level.

I'm all for doing your own thing and if someone wants to ski without poles, more power to them. However, I think it looks ugly and I don't like watching it. So, in conclusion, Skiing without poles=fine, putting skiing without poles (that looks as hideous as kye's flailing) in movies=me skipping that segment.

i dont think its the fact that he has no poles....its just him. when i was at mammoth my friend was using poles and he was flailing some/not getting full out grabs. he then threw his poles down and went no poles and his flailing was reduced and better grabs. also some of the illest most styley riders dont use poles such as garret russel who kills shit hard. so creative too and never flails. he looks so natural without poles. but kye in show and prove just looked like a baby bird falling from a nest and flapping its wings for the sake of its life

okay, so i was diving into the topic head first. i said it to get my point across. but i've done some pretty sick urban, and i've 7nd some big stuff... 92 foot gap included. all i'm trying to say is i think he should... explore some more. how many times have you seen him go inverted? and my arms are chill, i mean, there's no windows that are being rolled down.
