Ski fights

Anybody got any good stories of fights that happened while skiing? i know most of the fights i get into happen at the mountain...this one time i was in line at the lift, and this kid behind me kept pokin my ski with his pole. i know the kid, i also hate him, but i'm not a dick so i turn around and tell him to stop. he does it more. i tell him to stop one more time. he pounds the tops of my skis a couple times and then starts laughing. i turn around and fucking bash his brand new teneightys that hes so proud of.(i had brand pretty new fugatives). he smacks me in the shoulder with his ski pole and i get on the lift. so at the top he comes up to me, alone, i'm with six more of my friends(this is my home mountain, i'm here everyday, and i know a lot of people there, hes a fudgie from downstate) he takes off his skis and poles and tries to start a fight. i keep mine on...this kid is so pathetic, seriously, that my friends and i leave, like its not worth it.anyway, later on that day one of my friends was just standing at the top of one of our hills steepest slopes and the little bitch pushes my friend off of the lip. he skis off but one run later we corner the bastard and beat him with our ski poles.

Hyland Hills, MN. January 1st, 2004..night shift. The park's community gets rotated on it's laps by a towrope. The towrope is thee shit, tears ur gloves to shreds though, if u dont have rope guards. Anyways, I was a senior in high school, and a lifty at hylands. I was workin' at another lift, and got called to go to the top shack of the tow rope to break someone. When i got to the top, the coworker i was about to break tells me theres some snowboard nincompoop that keeps on pulling the tow rope at the top, breaking the safety gate, and stopping the rope; which sux for me cuz i have to hook it back up, and certainly sucking for the following 30 cat's shreddin' the park. after two times of this schmo breakin the gate, i get pissed (i'm easily aggravated), and throw an ice chunk at his head, hitting the back of it. he turns around takes the board off, comes up and starts gettin in my face. he throws the first punch (i was workin', didnt wanna instigate too much, just make him stop and not lose my job); and we both start goin at it, then roll down the middle of the park and over each other. we stop rollin halfway down the hill (50 ft?), get up and get a couple punches in. at that point i decided fuck it im gettin my boss and kickin this culprit out. i walked away, he ran away with his friend and dipped from the hill. i had to fill out some report, since my manager knew, w/ descriptions and what not. i never saw him again, apparently park service officers caught him speeding a month later, and he had warrants for his arrest in two states, i think ohio and iowa.

What is the big glorification about fights? Wow male dominance grrrrr that 15 year old kid totally shit kicked that 20 year old, no that 15 year old kid sucker punched the 20 year old who didnt retaliate realising the consequences if he did. Oh and the other guy always ends up losing despite the fact he is twice the size, this shit is dumb, it pretty much shows your immaturity if you cant even get along with someone on like 10 acres of land that you will prob never see again.

i saw a funny fight in the lift line the other day, it was two dads fighting over there kids, but they both looked like complete retards.but i guese you just had to be there tho

What do you gain by fighting? Seriously, thats not cool. Especially those assholes that gain up on people. How much o a pussy can you be? Some stories are cool, like the kid that posted earlier about sticking up for the learning skier. Hats off to you. However, fighting is not what skiing should be about. I seriously doubt most of you did nothing to bring on the fight. Really, fights are not that hard to avoid. They just detract from the mountain, the group and the experience. Why can't we just ski?

yeah that was funny, some little kids wanted to hit somthin that we had made, so we told them not to, they wanted to race for their right to hit it, so i said ok, i beat them, n then they went to tell their 17 year old friends. i was 13, i had a friend with me who was 13, and my brother (like he said) was ll. so these guys come after us, try to run over our skis, so i just turn to the side n throw my pole back. the 3 of us were sittin on the side of the mtn n there was about 8 of them down at the bottom, 2 that were prolly 10 or so, and the rest 17. my brother decides fuck it, im just gonna leave, so he skis down the other side, trying to avoid them. at this point they all have their snowboards off, and this one kid had his helmet off. the dumbass came after my brother, threw his helmet at him(which missed) and my brother as he went by stabbed him in the head with the bottom metal part of his pole. funny shit right there. so we n my friend just decide to chill there, not really knowing that my brother socked the guy so hard in the head, n they decide to walk up to us. the kid is bleeding and bitches about how my brother stabbed him in the head, we tell them that thier little friends or w/e started shit in the first place and eventually leave.

now im 16 and if some kid wanted to fight on the mtn i would at anytime. i believe some kid on ns was at mt snow last year trying to be cool by cutting off my brother n his friend while they were tryin to hit stuff. his friends knew he was being gay so they left him. if i was with my brother i woulda knocked the shit outa the kid right there.

I have a new favorite thread...this is straight-up comedy. I would say a few are fairly believable but the rest are pretty funny without obvious they are for being BS. Its great when all these kids say they will drop the gloves and go anytime. I love the ones that involve stabbing people with their poles cause thats super badass and tough. Nothing says I can kick your ass like assualt and battery with a deadly weapon (I think a ski pole would meet that requirement). Man you guys crack me up.

Seriously...how many of you have ever really been in a fight. I have been in more than a few and remember you will never know who is tougher than you or who has more friends just around the corner so careful what you start, especially if you arent on your home hill. I remember being young and dumb and willing to fight over the stupidest things. But it will take a lot more than someone challenging me or cutting me off for me to throwdown now. Life experiences will change your outlook on things. Here is some food for thought if you are gonna start a fight, losing a fight isnt the worst thing that can happen to you. A friend of mine got into it with a kid after a hardcore show in Boston some years ago, my buddy had the upper hand it was close to ending until one of the kid's friends tried to jump in. My buddy tossed the kid as he charged, the kid slipped off the curb and into the road. His head was hit by a car going by and he died before the ambulance got there. My buddy ended up serving 3 years for manslaughter. He was a smart kid who could have done something with his life but now he is marked as a murderer and if anyone runs his background they will see that. Try making something of your life with that on you.

There are reasons to fight but a snowball, someone cutting you off, saying something to you, or whatever lame things lead to fights usually arent that. Someone rapes your sister by all means get every friend you have grabs some hammers and go break some bones. If you want to fight and get some aggression out go find your nearest mixed martial arts center and do it in a controlled environment. Then again if you go learn combat sambo, brazilian jujitsu, or some other fighting system dont go fighting kids on the street since if you get arrested you that will hurt you since you are trained in fighting.

ya, my bro and this other kid which are freinds, got in a fight becuase the kids my bro was with were throwing snowballs at these other kids in the lift like...and this kid thought that it was my bro that hit him in the face do on the top the kid that got hit in the face.. took off his skis and tackled my bro right out of his skis, and my bro had a broken hand so he was just like punchin him with his his cast

ive got a history of fights at wachusett. my favorite is the one i had with the little thug from boston who kept running his mouth. i layed him out in front of the lift and the liftie goes "damn, bad day" they didnt pull my pass or anything they just left it at that

this one time. i hit a jump and this snowboarder cut me off so i yelled at him, and he jumped like 40 fett in the air, and judo kicked me in the side of the head. i fell down and summoned the dragon that lives in the woods and he came out and charred his ass, but he just jumped up and delivered another kick to the center of my chest and i was hurled some distance down the hill.
i accepted my defeat and went inside to eat a chili bread bowl and power up.

this one time i got jumped on the slopes by like 10 guys cause i wasnt wearing neutral gang colors. Luckily i had my mac 10 with me so i just emptied a clip on them and skied away. true story

i got into a couple fights in elementry school that i got my ass beat in (one involved my forehead being taken to a rock back and forth when i was like 8 for going into this kids fort and anoterh in 5th grade where i got trampeled by a fat kid for i dont even know why) and one in 7th grade with an 8th grader who was trying to be cool and threw a punch at my head but i fought back and actualy won with a punch to the kids left eye which started bleeding everywere but still got in trouble which is bullshit but lately the only fighting i do is with friends or when i get drunk and some kid i dont like is there ill fight him but half the time i cant remember what happend but i am told i am quit the lil tyson its not worth the trouble at school cus you get arrested at my highschool for that shit

one time i was selling weed at my local hill (yea its good business mostly from snowboarders tho) and this dude comes back to me like end of the day sayin how i ripped him off. i had a couple friends with me so i was like "fuck you man, get the fuck outta here" he caught me with a cheap shot to the temple i didnt see coming but i recovered and proceeded to beat the shit out of him before my friends pulled me off.

I thought you go skiing to relax and have fun. You don't see fights in parks in Europe because we aren't moody cunts. If you want to fight, do it properly, like at the the football, not when you are chillaxin.

i cant beleive how stupid all of you who think its cool to post a fight story, you make me want to quit skiing. you realize what ski fights are, you decide to pick on someone smaller and weaker than you so you can feel bigger and stronger. LAME, prove that you are better on your skis, fighting is for football players and the fags that run along with them. I dont know about ya'll but i ski for fun not to make myself feel high and mighty. i am ashamed
