alright...last summer before this ski season i was all pumped and shit thinking i'd get so good at park this year and all i wanted to do was just care about being good and doing like all these corked flipped things...i was also like that til basically last weekend. Me and my friends just basically didn't care about trying anything good and just skied the mountain and still went into the park alot, but just fooled around and did stuff that i didn't get nervous about or anything. We just did like, easy rail, some old school, just some 180s tryin to make em nice, stufff like taht and it was so much more fun then trying real hard to be good and look good. i actually laughed a lot and didn't get all picky about how good or bad i was doing and didn't care if i didnt even grease the easiest rail there or a 2 ft 180 it was just fun to actually ski and not try to be good and just let it flow. I'm probably way behind a ton of u guys who found this out a long time ago, but just to kids who try real hard to be good: unless u have an insane future and ur real talented or something, just try one day and just do what i did. Ski the trails and take em switch and do some mad 3's off some natural ledges or drop offs even on groomed trails and still go into the park if u want and just goof around and u'll probably find out its so much more fun. You should still progress, but just don't take it so seriously like i used to. and u'll probably actually end up being even better skier that way.
what a gay post...
