snowboard movies are kinda overrated. everyone says they are soooo much better than skiing movies, but seriously they arent better at all.
snowboarding is still sweet though.

in my opinion, snowboarding for the most part has more creative/impressive things in their trailers, better music, better editing

i do think snowboard movies do have more creative things in it, like if in the dc mountain lab video, they did such awsome stuff, but i think this year we are gonna match them, so far im alot more impressed with the skiing trailers, like show and prove, long story short, and skimatic, i dont think ive seen a trailer yet that can beat one of those.

Its because most of us have seen so many ski movies, and it almost gets repetitive. Then you see a snowboard trailer and you see stuff that you don't see very often it looks really sick. Some of my snowboard friends will get really stoked on a skiing teaser that in my mind is pretty boring, just because they aren't exposed to our sport as much. I think it works both ways.

wasnt that impressed.  there are much much much better ones out there.  everyone should go to skipass and watch all the snowboard trailers from this year to see how a trailer should be made.

wow snoboarders go so much bigger in the backcountry than skiers that trailer pretty much proves that but it wasnt the best snoboarding trailor out there this year

Yeah I really believe that also.
As for snowboarders going bigger in the bc, I think it's the angles they shoot at. If you think about it, there are a lot of shots in the bc for skiing movies that are head on, or just don't justify the size. When there are shots that do, they go unnoticed (Candide in War).

definatley better editing, i saw this one trailer, the editing was so sick, at one point in the trailer, they draw the outlines of the boarders and everything around so its like a cartoon, its really cool

reminded me of Msp's Push. skiing movies are always better. but snowboard movies have a better vibe. skiing movies need to put more funny stuff in there movies.

are you kidding? the thing they did through the house with the box on the other side then that one line, i forget exactly how it goes but he does like 2 rails, then someone throws him a shotgun then he yells pull! and fake shoots it then he passes it off to anoter guy, then does like 10 other rails/jibs perfectly. that was awsome, and how could you call it fruity? the 80's stuff was so awsome, and renee renee is the coolest person in the world.
