hey. last year i hurt my shins skiing becuase of lack of padding in my ski boots. this year im buying boots with better shin/ front padding and i was wondering what kind is the best. im into freestyle and glades. also i was wondering what good bindings i should get for my skis. there fat skis so i need the wide brakes. i like the looks of the look p10s but i cnat find any on ebay in a color i like. what other good freestyle/ glade/ backcountry bindings are there.

Get a booster strap, that will help with the shin bang.

If you search for it there have been billions of boot threads. most of which will say go to a shop. just tell them that you want a "freeride" boot, the more padding the better with a moderate to soft flex. Make sure its a shop that has a pretty good selection, particularly of freestyle stuff. For instance, I work at REI and we don't even stock the 1080 boot so don't go to a place like that. Rossi, salomon (spk!! and the 1080), dalbello, lange, technica, and probably some others I'm forgetting all have some pretty nice freeride type options so it depends on which one fits your foot better. I have salomon 1080 guns, they are sick for me, but don't even try them on if padding is a big issue for you just try normal 1080 foils and spks.
