what should be your first priority in buying new gear? like what do you usually buy first and then if you have any money left over buy some more stuff.

only buy the shit you need. don't go wasting it just because you have it. save it up, and go on a trip, or to camp or something. or just save it for later in life.

As far as gear, if you need it, boots should be your number one priority. Get ones that fit well and match your skier type (e.g. you don't want Lange race boots if you have wide feet and rock the park.)

Boots first no matter what should be you're biggest concern. With me, since I have boots that fit, I'll probably end up getting new skis and new jacket/pants/helmet once it gets closer.

ive still never actually bought poles (10 years skiing) always just used hand-me-downs or freinds old ones.

there is always a way to come across poles

yes but no. you can have boots and skis and steezy outerwear, but what if thats all your money, what if you have no bindings.

correct order.
1. boots
2. skis and bindings.
3. poles
4. jacket
5. pants
6. headwear
