if you have to chose between the two id deffinatly go with Kona, but its really the lesser of two evils kinda thing. Unless your gona get a stinky d, those are the only good ones. If you have the option id go with specialized. P2 is what i ride and it is the best iv ridden

oh and also the Kona has upgrades brakes
i belive it has some avid 8" brakes and some new tires

p.s, if i had the money to afford a stuff, i'd buy it. so quit being a sissy, cowboy up, and give'r!! kona makes a rad bike. plus you're a newb when it comes to biking, so you'd never notice a difference anyways.
