I just think its his last game in the World Cup level. I think he's still going to play Club soccer.

I would love to see him come back next WC for some revenge. That would be epic.

zidane is a sick ass player. he shouldnt have head butted anyone but who knows went down with the italian guy but honeslty....who fuckin cares?! in a week no one will even think of the world cup or let alone soccer. the world cup was sick and it will be back in 4 years.
this will not tarnish zidanes legacy either.

I agree, I wont remember Zidane as the guy who headbutted the Italian player in 110th minute but I will remember him as one the best players in soocer.

What a great way to go out. I mean he could've easily slugged him right in the face... but he fucking head butted him in the chest and made Materazzi look like a little bitch. Sometimes when people are pissing you off you just have to lay down the law. As long as it doesn't happen all the time it's ok. I still respect him as a player.

I played lacrosse all throughout highschool. One game a kid was being a little bitch just like Materazzi, holding me up, taking cheap hits and talking smack on my girlfriend (who he actually did know). Well 4th quarter I had enough. Gave him a nice two-hander, landed perfectly on his thumb. Broken in two places and ran off the field almost in tears. It was awesome listening to him screaming while they pulled his glove off on the sideline. Needed pins and all. Asshole was out for the rest of the season. Never did it again i can guarentee it. Yeah I got ejected from the game... was it worth it? Yes.

It just kinda sucks zidane did it in his last game. Still an amazing player though.

People have been saying that he was called a terrorist, cause of his parents, and where he comes from. If the italian did do that, i would have flipped the fuck out to. If that player said that, then he deserves it for sure. No matter what.

he was probably just fustrated from having two italy players pressuring him when he has the ball so he can't set up any plays and as well, italians being italians he was probably being fouled a lot in the process with nothing called.
