the silencer is a stiffer fugitive, based on the old pes with a thiner waist, its suposta be there "pipe" ski, If you like a stiffer park ski then it a great choice and will ski all mtn well too, I demoed these too but I hate k2 at demo days cuz they mount everything at 0 and you cant get a real fell for it so Im never very impressed with k2s at demo days
thats kinda right, they are like ar5 stiff, so they do good all mountain, i skiied them for a week and ive been skiing fujatives, and i think they are easier to flex and flex more than the fujatives, they are crazy poppy, and like the best park ski ive ever skiied, except for mabye stl's its a tie between those.
but they also do awsome out of the park. so its not really park specific.
they definatly are better than fujatives for park though.
ive owned ar5's and they were awsome all mountain, my local shop sold them to a 60 year old guy because they said they were good on groomers. just not great for bc stuff.
okay.
i demoed them at my mtn. on the west coast when it snowed 2 feet the weekend before so there was crud everywhere. even on the groomed the snow was choppy, so everywhere i went the skis were chattery and not all that controllable
