i was wondering how well these skis would perform. would they be a good all montain ski? would i be able to take them into powder? i kno this ski is just a fatter version of the invaders (a specific park ski) but i really need a versitile ski for this season and i was wondering if these would be it.
They're the invaders, except 10mm wider. Incredibly soft overall, especially at the butter points. I rode them through glades and they were fine because of soft snow, but (trying) stopping on ice was scary. And it's Anthems, no funny spelling.
yea at the demo day I went to, one of my favorite skis what the Blend I was surprised with it, I didnt like the way the anthem rode on the mtn very much, if your lookin for a park skis the anthem would be a sick ski, but if your going to ride the mtn look into something else and if your skiing wisconsin you dont need that fat of ski, I also though the ar6 was a fun ski, so I would say look into the ar6 and the blend, although in wisconsin you could probably get away with any ski for all mtn, how big is your mtn?
they're in the middle, not as stiff as the prophets (which are very stiff) but not flimsy like invaders or anthems. They're a good ski for anybody that's decent-good and that wants an overall ski for park/trees/groomers/and some powder.
anthems are a park ski...so keep them in the park. i mean its not like ur not gonna be able to ski the rest of the mtn with them. they'll ski fine on regular runs. but not as good as chronics would. but the anthem would surpass the chronics in the park. so if u ski 80% park or more go with anthem. any less then 80% find a different ski
