ive skiied the fujatives, and i just bought silencers and skiied them in whistler for a week, in my opinion they are wayyyyy better in park than the fujatives, they are sorta stiff like ar5 stiff, but still easy to flex and stuff, and i only weigh 140. they are super super poppy, and like the best ski ever for jumps. i think they do a much better job in the park than fujatives, plus they are lighter.
even turpin said they are the best skis k2 has made.
Dude, I'd totally recommend the silencers, and this is coming from a fujative owner. Why the hell do you people say you want a soft ski for park? The only benefit they have is butters but you can butter on anyother ski too. Stiffer skis have the extra pop and support on landings.
Don't even compare K2's to Salomons. Look at the fujatives, they were the cheapest twintip available last year and they're excellent quality. The Silencers are just a stiffer version of that.
^^^ yeah dude seriously comparing salomon and k2 is fucking rediculous, with k2 u dont need to spend a wad of money to get a quality ski, with salomon there whole line besides a couple of there expensive twins are bad quality sticks
Honestly, I think you are jumping on the hate salomon Bandwagon there bud. My Guns are some of the sickest skis that I have skiied, and the comparison, the Vicious, is nowhere as fun for me. Honestly, I don't think you have skiied Salomons skis or you would realize that they do put out a fun ski that is durable. Or, you just don't want to admit it.
really though, i didnt find the silencers any harder to butter than the fujatives, the fujatives seem mabye even stiffer, but they have that wierd flex thing with like butter points of something.
id say compared to the arv's, ar5's, stl's, and fujatives ive had, the silencers are probably the second stiffest after the ar5's, and tied with stl's for the best park skis. but they definatly kick every ski's ass for jumps, the weight, width, pop and stiffness is perfect for jumps.
guns are good skis buddy, but look at the cost, i was saying that salomon makes quality stuff and good stuff u just need to spend more dough then to get a quality ski from k2. i like salomon and yes ive skiied foils, guns, thrusters, they were all fun but i just think k2 is quality with a really good price.
its just like a new car.. you see when a car company comes out with a new car not many people buy it, becasue no matter what there will be probalems with a ew vehicle in the first year, so same goes for skis. i would get fujatives anyways
i love mine soo much.
wtf are you talking about eric.. i didnt say anything about big mountain. but for me they work fine.. but next year i will have BC's so oh well, you have to come hit the BC with me and bobby and my coaches(friends), like really stuff, 1-2 hour hike in and laps up a mountian. not just jumping the rop and hitting a line you pussy.
