i have only had two pairs of twins and they are both fine...my racing volkls broke a few years ago when i took them into the park...i heard elans suck...

the first pair of elan twins were horrible... and they didn't even make a twin this year according to the elan rep dude...

anything with a foam core sucks though if you're an agressive skier. they'll either break or the core will soften up on you, than you're either stuck with a pair of broken skis, or some noodles.

You're wrong,they did Elan amps,which have this pretty ugly camo graphic. and then some mantis-thingies,you can ride fakie with'em so nicely. But would I buy the matis or amps? No. But to think about it,i used to have 540's and they weren't that good,and then,on the last day when I was at a big resort my friend hit a huge rock and his composites of the candide's came out. that sucked,he slid away,abut on the next run i hit the exact same fucking rock(under the snow)and BLADOW! my skis were broke too. the resort said at first that 'you ride the street course with your own responsibility,look at the sign' and after a huge debate and some blackmail attempts,me and my friend got skis,and i'm pretty glad they gave 'em,but my friend still cries his ass off when someone menties candide's and he goes to psychotherapy too. Gonna buy troublemakers next season..

The industry demo was at my mountain a month ago and I tried nordica beast I thought it was the shittiest ski ever I love my crossmax P10's but they kinda suck in the park I've broke the tips off two pairs in two seasons. (Now I bought some park skis)

you should say any line ski from the past few seasons cause the old ones were tough as hell they can have the shit beaten out of them and still be fine but the new ones explode really easily

remember those fucking stupid ass 'bigfoot' thingies they used to rent at all the hills about 4 years ago when snowblades started to get popular? man, what the hell were they thinking?

oh yeah, does anyone remember sled dogs? they were running infomercials for them about 6 years ago. i thought they were the coolest things ever, i wanted them so bad...good thing i didnt spend all my lawn mowing and paper route money on them...mind you i wouldnt mind fucking around with a pair of them today.

I dont remeber what company made them but I demod a pair of twins 6 years ago. Like one of the first ones that had the little plastic tip thing at both ends and they were like needle sharp at the ends. those sucked

all skis suck. except for the trouble makers. these skis are def. the best ski to buy. their ollie max tail makes all pop tricks a hell'ov alot easier.

elan sucks??? Co. musta gone downhill from when i got some, i had a pair of old 163 elan RCX straight skis, things were freakin indestructable, i bought them used about 6 years ago, theyre still in better condition then my candides
