i'd go with an arbor or a sector nine, but that looks like it could be a good one, never ridin that kind tho, check out sector 9's line of longboards i think u might like em better unless yer tryin to save money....
Yeah go with Sector Nine. Although I have a Dregs. Its nice. Ill get a picture of it later. The first thing you do when you get it though is ride it down a hill. If you get speed wobble then tighten the trucks. I still have to on mine because where I live is all a hill. And im proud to say I got mine at Ron Jons!
I hate sector 9 boards, i have riden alot of them and i just dont like them, i looked at the arbor pin tail and i think its too stiff. I can get a complete of this board for 169 with shipping.
i don liek long boards but theres one of those at the skate shop next door and i dont think anyone's going to buy it.. i know i wont.. i think longboards are gay
i'm more of a lets see what i can do for tricks on this thing than a lets see how fast i can get going on this thing crash split open my head and get rushed to the emergency room... i've heard storys.. and i dunno i just think the concept of it is gay... but thats just my opinion
Well they are a good way to get around if your bike is broken or something. And most of the time the wheels are big enough so that if you go over a rock it just bounces it out of your path
the cheif is a realy realy nice board. my photo teacher got one and when he rides with us its crazy. the thing is so flexable be carves like mad. i've ridden it a few times and i love it all my friends want one like his.
DO NOT GET A SECTOR 9 OVER A LANDYATCHZ!
landyatchz ride sooooo well. if youre just cruising around, the cheif is good, but if you want to bomb hills as well, look into the downhill race board with the gumball wheels
i actually have that board, it was my first board too. i fucking love it. its way fun for just cruising, carving, or bombing hills. i got the randal II trucks or whatever and theyre fucking great. i recommend it. although i got the other graphic.
Thats a pretty sick board. A good all around cruiser. Long enough for speed and short enough to carve hard. The cambered deck is pretty sick too, feels sorta like a snowboard. I run a sector 9 48" pintail (dont know what its called) but that was a board I considered when I bought mine.
god i can't say it enough. LOADEDLONGBOARDS. s9's are alright but they're no where near as specialized as landyachtz or loaded longboards. almost any board you get for your first will be good, but if you want something you'll love for a long time do a lot of research. silverfish is prob the best site to go to, so check out the forums and read a lot. i feel like i'm a rep for loaded longboards but seriously, the pintail is the best board i have ridden out of the 15+ i've tried.
Ive riden the pin tail but i dont think its long enough, the vanguard is to expensive, i loved the loadeds ive tried they are so much fun. I'm pretty sure im going to get "The Chief" With the randall 180 trucks or what would be the pros and cons of getting the 150s?
