Summer School.. Day 1..

i am taking university level grade 12 english this summer as an accelerated credit so come next winter i have an extra spare to hit up the slopes in the afternoon in stead of sitting in an english class room. Fortunatly, alot of my friends are doing the course too.. so i know poeple at the school (its being held at a different highschool then the one i attend). Here is the catch, because there are so many people who are doing the course (120) there are 4 classes. And how it works the teacher basically can teach anything and everything they can from the normal semestered ENG 4U1 course in the 18 day period. UNfortunatly my teacher is a hard ass. We are the only class to do an ISU, and we have 2 more essays to write then everyone else, and we have an extra book to read (three in total).

So how much fucking bullshit is that.. right now im complete 1/18 .. 17 more days of hell. Gah.

18 days plus weekends.. its 3 and a half weeks.. almost half my summer. but yeah i know.. i just gotta giv'er for these 3 and a half weeks and then i get to laugh at everyone who has to do it in 4 months next year.

i did the same, i took grade 12 english in summer school. it's not so bad. the extra spare is worth it in the long run as well.

That really sucks that you have to dot hat work...but just think skiing the whole time...be like oh yeah knar pow..vs. sitting in a class...soo worth it

I missed the 8th grade math exit exam by 2 points!! so now I have to do the whole course over again in summer school and already understand this shit....its on a computer PLATO thing and it talks to you an it treats me like a total retard.....today they were teaching me what the word "estimate" means. gah. and it goes on all summer long. and the entire course is online, yet I have to come into a ghetto ass school every morning and do it there for some reason when I could sleep in and do it from home without the gangstas cappin' me ugly looks. yikes!

Im a little japanese boy in a gangsta school. ooh noooo.

so im through 5 days of class, and its boring as fuck. one room, 5.5 hours.. day, after day, after day, reading ,after reading,after reading.

tonight my buddy is having a huge jam, and it sucks cuz i have school tomroow i cant get krunked.

no clearly you don't understand it perfectly or you would get 100% on all the tests and exams and quizzes, and even if you were so rebelously hardcore as you say and don't do your homework, it's only like 10-15% of your grade.

25 at most.

so you should be getting 80-90%

and I did some of the homework so I passed with a high D. and when I went to USASA Nationals, I got excused from my work so I could turn it all in for full credit when I got back, but she wouldn't accept it for some reason. My parents say shes not allowed to do that but then again, there was nothing I could do. So I got a complete F for 3 weeks in the end of the school year and it was a bitch to bring it back up.

considering that the ENG 101 gen ed is fairly easy and not all that time consuming....killing 3.5 weeks instead of earning money and sailing in the afternoons would be a waste for me

yummm I have 1 more problem to do until I'm done with summer school, but it ends this friday. Im gonna see if I can skip the next 4 days cause I heart sleeping in and smooking diet weed.
