How do you deal with parents

im a junior in highschool now and i think of myself as a good kid im not into drugs and all that shit but my parents just found my bottle of southern comfort and even before this they treat me like im 10 i have a 1230 curfew what the fuck im in highschool now and i have a job....... now im grounded.... how do you deal with parents like this

i don't allow them to ground me, especially if i pay for my own shit. they'll take your car away, and tell them thanks, you'd rather not drink and drive. shows you're responsible enough to be drinking. don't get pissed at them for the consequences....just chill out and enjoy the party stuff. explain to them that you don't want to goto college and have no expirience with it, so you're doing it within your own safety net of good friends. they'll not going to buy into it though, so expect a week or two of some bull shit and handle it responsibly and mellow mannered. tell them you understand their position, but at the same time they need to understand yours and you are a junior, you need to expiriment things and form your own opinions. you might not even like drinking in one year, plenty of shit can happen. but if you aren't allowed, you're going to want to partake.

well, i was straight-edge in high school and never did anything stupid and my curfew was 11 when i was a junior, and my parents would kill me if they ever found alcohol in my room, so it's kinda hard for me to have sympathy for you.
so i would just say deal with it, cuz when you're out of high school you won't have to worry about parents if you move out for college.

let me restate; I don't drink or do stupid stuff, so they trust me. You're wondering why they don't trust you, yet they found alcohol in your room? you're underage and you're parents don't want to do illegal stuff that could get you hurt or in trouble. What's so hard to understand?

all my friends drink i went to his house the other day and his dad bought it any other parents dont care..... i can kinda understand the so co but shit 1230 curfew thats a joke....

he pretty obviously has different parents than you do. My parents would kick my ass if I came home drunk while I have friends who's parents chaperone parties. Grow up and deal with it.

I just got caught with beer or drunk a few times and they just started to accept that its what im going to do. They just get really pissed if i drink and drive so i attempt to avoid doing that. I dont know if your parents will be as lenient tho.
