Because I came home reaking of alcohol. Not that this is a rare occurance, they took it because I refused to blow into the breathalizer that they bought. They don't do anything when they catch me drinking because I'm almost out of the house, but I have come home drunk alot lately and they know it. My dad said he wanted to know how bad it was getting. I refused to blow into the fucking thing because the numbers would be rediculous. Oh well, saves me some fucking gas money. Biking will get my ass into shape also.

It doesn't seem like they're really 'gay' on drinking, cause he said they know he drinks alot and are cool with it as long as it's out of the house. I'd say he's got a serious problem with alcohol if they've gone to breathalizing.

My parents caught me with a little PH strip that i had to put in my mouth. It turns darker with the more you had to drink and i got that bitch to purple.

No, I do not have a problem, not in the least. My parents are just crazy motherfuckers. I'll give some examples: The paid 2000 dollars for a 10 week counseling program when they found out I smoked weed, and they wanted to do alot more. They made me go back to the fucking place when they caught me drinking for the first time. They have always been completely over protective. All my friends parent won't even answer the phone if they see that it is my parents calling, they think that my parents are that rediculous. And they are. I drink maybe once or twice a week, and that is just getting a little drunk. Rarely do I get smashed. It's summer, I have 90 days of high school left in my life, I don't have a fucking problem.

Maybe you should just be happy that your parents care about you.
Plus if you fuck up in life they are kinda responsible, this way they can say they did eveything possiable to ensure you don't fuck up.
My suggestion, tell them the truth about evething, don't argue and maybe cut back a little on the drinking, at least untill you move out. Then they don't have to know.

^yeah. when i was a senior my mom was CRAZY. off the fucking wall. i moved out and didn't talk to her for about 2 years and now where cool. maybe you guys could use some time apart b/c it seems like your parents are having trouble with you growing up. drugs and drinking are something that you would experience eventually and its beter you get it out of the way when your younger than going off the deep end in your 20s.

I like your positive outlook on the situation at the end. Most kids would start cussing at their parents and throw a tantrum on how its so gay that their parents are taking away the car cause they drove drunk and their parents dont want their kid or anyone else killed.

I know it sux, but ur rents just care about you. You'll find out later (if you're not a total dumbass) that a lot of what your rents do for you turns out best in the end.
It doesn't sound like you've had shitty luck with cars, but one accident will change the way you drive forever, even if you're sober as a judge when it happens.
I used to drink a lot, and now I respect my rents for doing all they knew to keep me away from it when I was at home. I only got to drink when I was traveling, and I learned real quick that the solution is not to try and make up for lost time. I'm 18 now and I was a hardcore alkie from about 15 on till I almost got busted with my uncle for DUI. Now, I'll have a drink every now and then in the privacy of my own home, but I never drive if I've even had a beer.
It's not worth the price when you get to college. I have enough scholarships right now that I basically have a stipend for going to school. I don't want to lose that. A bunch of my less intelligent friends already have.

both my parents are really against me drinking (I've got a 20 year old brother that kind of flunked out of college due to drinking too much, and he drinks alot, not a real problem though, but you know, enough to make him a skid).
anywhooo, my mom always jokes about how she works int he school system and always hears stories about my friends drinking....now I'm sure that she can put two and two together here and realize that I drink occasionally with them.
I don't drink all that much, but in the summer i plan to a bit more. My mom found a mickey in my closet too, (beside tom cruz lolsorz) and there were no problems, she just took it, "talked" to me about it and so on.
the point of those random facts about my life is that all parents are different, and every kid has to adapt to that.
you've got overly strict parents, that kinda sucks, but then where other kids don't have to worry about sneaking around, you don't have to worry about other stuff.

Get a motorcycle. Dangerous yes. But its a hell of a lot cheaper than a car and the gas is great on them. Just dont get drunk on those then you WILL die

Theres this girl I know and her parents put her on lockdown. And she doesnt do anything bad. She gets awesome grades and has never gotten in trouble. Shes never even been to a birthday party before.
