i have this thing called ad aware that goes through my computer and deletes the thingys that make pop ups come up, but i dont know if that is what you need. download.com has that and more

the massenger service pop ups are things that were originally intended for people who knew eachother to send messages over a nwtwork etc to eachother.I think its only in wondows 200 and XP. Some advertisers have figured out how to utalize this tool. Some sites will try to send you programs to fix it for about 10 bucks..dont bother, its a rip off. you can do it yourself in 5 mins. All you have to do is turn off the messanger service in your properties. I dont remember how, but ill look it up for you and let you know!
