do the line skis have any new technology? i heard they might havew an ollie think on the 1260;'s like the TM'S, on the tial, but its prolyl a rumor, anyone?

its a new micro fiber core thats is gonna give the ski more pop.. its going into all the jib skis... and infront of the binding is gonna have a window that looks into the core and you can see the micro fibers.. thats what jake told me

Are there going to be new graphics?

I was looking at some japanese page that showed a bunch of the new skis, and all the lines had the same graphics except for those carving skis and the pollard pro, and the 3 bindings with the different colors. But, all the other skis were the same.

all of last years skis are stayin the same graphic wise the only way you'll be able to tell is with the window in forn of where the bindings will be

yea, the titanium grind plate runs tip to tail, for 50-50's. it only increses the skis weight by 4 pounds apiece.

more bindings from line as well, just a higher din setting though, weigh the same and everything. And wats with the carving ski's? I iam thinking they r semi-twin, so i have heard.

line started making carving skis because only a small fraction of the industry is twins, and they are a company who needs to produce a profit. hopefully they put the money from the carving skis (which is a bigger industry) into their twin tips...

yeah i've seen all of next years stuff, they didnt change any graphics and they have a bunch of carving skis that are made by blizzard but have line graphics, they didnt have enough money to really redo alot of their skis, because of the binding problems they had this year.

the reason line is making carving skis is because their binding project was getting alot of press outside of the ski industry, like in the science world and in popular mechanics magazine...stuff like that

omg are the pro models really gonna have titanium makio/5050 plates? Is It gonna be a concave metal strip to lock on to the rail? This sounds cool though. Who knows maybe one day our skis edge will not wear down cause u just screw in a new metal edge under your grind area. That would be sweet.

The special thing you are talkin about in the 1260's is nothing more than carbon fiber stringers. Companies have been using them in skis and snowboards for a long time. Basically gonna make the tails a little snappier, not necesarily stiffer. And all the graphics are the same, except for a clear spot so you can see the core

carving skis have to be ugly. it's a law, apparently, designed to maintain that skiing, as a whole, stays gay with no style. LINE has been watching snowboarding carefully, and sees what a miserable failure that is. they don't want to make the mistake of havin all their product be cool and stylee.
