Short skis and height?...

Hmmm...been reading a lot of short ski flaming recently (I'm 5'11" and ride 169 PEs). I guess short skiers get ripped on in the park, but for technical perfection, shorter seems to be used by most people. Especially between moguls and stuff, plus

Sorry got cut off.
Weight is more tied to ski length than height too, at 160 I am not the heaviest 5'11" person, and 169 give me a good response. I have GS skis that are long and full on GS:11 racers that are quite big, but for an all around ski (I like moguls a lot) whats the deal with ripping on length?

I hate short skis in moguls, you can't go fast with them. Actually, you can't go fast anywhere with short skis without being totally out of control. I can see some sort of advantage to having short skis for small stuff in the park, but once you try to do something bigger or *gasp* ski the mountain, the pros are going to be outweighed by the cons. For reference I weigh 155 and I ride skis between 185 and 190cm.

^^this is true. if your just stsaring out, go a tad shorter, but the more expierenced you are, it seems like you can handle longer
