I've seen a kid that can throw d-spin 12's. he can probably do a dspin 1440.. not sure.
he throws them at the superpark in kirkwood, so there is alot of airtime off those jumps. It's not as hucked as you'd think

i would beleive a d-spin 1440, not saying it happened to this guy, because he sounds pretty gay, but i saw some kid do a really corked 1440 all crossed up over like a 30 foot table at a comp, and it didnt even look that bad. some kids can just spin really fast.

the guy who threw the 1440 off the middle sized freestyle jump at castle (i dont actually think is was even 30 feet), had skis probably about 160 cm's. it was so weird, he just hit the jump, tucked in his arms and span like a figure skater (he didnt even flail...). it was so weird, he went up to his freinds asking them how much he spun. kind of a weird way to take the sport, but it was interesting to see.

to answer some questions. the guy who i saw do the corked 1440, he was probably about 5'9, and 16 years old. he was probably 10-15 feet up and it was no more than 30 feet to the landing. you know those kids who can throw 1440's on the tramp, they just have to get really corked and spin like a gymnist? it was like that. did 2 spins going up and 2 spins going down. it was so weird, it took the judge a while before he kind of laughed and called out the 'corked 1440 cross'
