How do you pay for ski involved stuff. Do your parents pay for some of it, what job you work for the money or who youre sponsered by. For me it's washing dishes at a restaurant by my house.

My parents don't pay for anything. They say this season, I even have to pay my own hospital bills. They just yell at me a lot and tell me I'm going to paralyze myself and ruin their lives.
I'm not sponsored, but I do get free shit at comps and such once in a while.
I work full time at a state park in the summer. On top of that, I'm a correspondent for the newspaper, and sometimes I work for my aunt painting and stuff.
Last winter I worked part time as a lifeguard at my college (5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. so I could be skiing by 9) and also did stuff like housesitting, ski instructing, and putting tags on clothes.
I'm going to try to get a job at a shop this year so I can get free lift tickets and such.

i got my first pair of skis off ebay/ 02-03 (?) ghetto blasters for $90.
other than that i find other good deals/mooch. for lift tickets i save from mowing lawns in the summer. my skis for this season were last years fujis. bought them off a friend for $80 with bindings, used for one run. boots-got from my brother. pants- got form sisters ex-boyfriend. goggles- a-frames for 60 on overstock. yea you get the point...
