Mac ipod to pc ipod

So i have an ipod that was originally used on a mac computer, it's one with the 4 buttons on top...anyway now i deleted all the music, and am trying to get my music off of my PC to the ipod, but it isn't working. any suggestions?

reformat the iPod using the iPod updater. Mac formatted iPods will not work on PCs. PC formatted iPods will work on Macw however.
