I was just wondering if anyone has seen any movies from this company. The moonshine conspiracy. It is a surf film and music company that Jack Johnson and Chris Malloy started. I think the direction they take in surf film is awesome. I would love to see someone take this direction in ski films. These films give me a totally different feeling then anything ive ever gotten from ski films. I can't really think of any ski film companies that approach movies in this fashion, besides maybe TGR but the moonshine conspiracy does it differently. To me it seems like they try to adress the stoke in surfing. I want to see someone adress the stoke in skiing in a similar or better fashion then they do.

I have only seen a stroke down melody but it is a sick idea, appreaciate the element, then pose the surfer as someone smaller in that element, relaxed and illustrating a process... not just a quick trick, I feel like companies shy away from it because if not done correctly and show to the right crowd it becomes boring

^hah "stroke down melody", that sounded funny. its broke down melody. I understand where your coming from when you say it could become boring. It does take an attention span. Its possible though.

There's a ski movie comming out soon enough that'll make you feel good. The produce all their own music and rather than having segments, it's more like a documentary. There was a thing on NS about it a little bit ago. The people who made Jibberish are invovled with it.

just read the interview all the way through finally. They're on the right track. Rider segments being elemented is a step in the right direction. ITs un natural and doesn't really correspond to how it really went down. His ideas about ski porn in todays movie industry is spot on with how i feel. Its kind of weird, i use a lot of the same language in my head. Its also very ironic that PBP's movie this year is called Ski Porn. caus thats exactly what it is, money shot after money shot after money shot. wheres the story and art in ski movies? Im now super syched on the newmin adminstration.

i own thicker than water and i think it is awesome. By far one of my favorite action sports movies. Not only is their some sick footage, it gives out a really good vibe as well.

I have shelter and love it I think its one of the best "action sports" films I've ever seen the music is amazing and the filming and editing are so personal you have to love it
