Obviuously you don't know anything about racing.....or formula 1. If you did, you would have not said BMW. Your just braging about going to the race, like you do with everything else....brag brag brag. BTW Renault is the leader in the points sandings, Fernando has had the most pole posistions this season, and the most wins, including last year's championship.
Ohh and another thing, BMW petronas are better then last year, but they still blow. BMW were much better with Williams.

this is about Formula1......not nascrap. These cars are the fastest, most advanced race cars in the world. They can take hair pin turns in excess of 120 KPH.
This makes NASCAR look like inbread mokey racers. This is track racing.....no circles.

No......but there are in a great athletic shape. These cars have no power stearing. Turn your car off....and go turn the wheel, see how hard it is. Now these guys do it at 350 KPH.....think about it, do the physics. The force that is excerted on them is inmmence. Just as much....if not more then a fighter pilot because of the downforce of the spoilers.

Theres no place........when they have the incam....look at the steering wheel...it is a direct feed. There is no place, too heavy. The engines have no starter nither.....or alternater.

its not hard to turn your wheel without power steering when you going like 20+ obviosuly youhave never driven a car without it. it gets easier as the speed increases, and since they go pretty fast im sure its not all that hard.

To a point......but when you drasticly increase speed......or decrease speed. No to mention the downforce. Yes i have driven a car without power steering, and it is not that easy no matter what speed.

Schumacker got his record....he is getting old....soo he just does not care anymore. No to mention that Rubens is not his team mate, and he does work well anymore with his new team mate. I don't think he cares anymore, rumors are he is going to retire next year, and that they are looking for new drivers at ferrari.

why don't they have power steering?

It's probably because of the concept; "If it doesn't make it go faster or stop faster, it's not necessary". Extra weight, extra things that could go wrong and need fixing, etc.

actually youre wrong, ive gone to every usgp since its inception in 2000, BMW is the official team name for what was sauber, but BMW bought the naming rights, and peter sauber is no longer the owner, only a technical advisor.
Alonso, pretty much has the title wrapped up,however if schumacher can regain his championship form and ferrari can keep on par with renault, especially on low downforce tracks like monza and indy they can catch up

I have a lot of respect for Formula One, the only problem is its lack of exposure in North America. Regarding previous posts in this thread, you get a lot of people who immediately assosiate racing with inbred hicks and circle tracks, however Forumla One isn't like that at all, its very quick, and very technical. Aspiring race car drivers all look up to formula one as the one thing they'd like to race someday. Its also one of the few types of racing thats enjoyable to watch

i think the greatest thing i've ever seen was when Renault one, then had they're engine dyno set up to have the motor sing "we are the champs".....classic
yeah f1 racers are crazy fit, it takes alot of work, not to mention metal stamina to hold up in one of those races...they train like any other athlete as well as all of the driving, studying, ect.

won** god i can't type today....
oh yeah, and when you have as much downforce as those cars do, turning the wheel is hard.....faster you go, more downforce there is....actually there is enough that if the track went upsidedown, at something like 120mph then would be able to stay on the track.....just to give you an idea of the forces at hand

personally i think indycar has better racing than f1, but nothing compares to how quick f1 cars are, the sound of the cars are unrivaled too

hahaha catch up......haha sure they can.....just keep telling yourself that....
Ferrari is not gonna catch up, schumacher has is money...he is going to retire soon. I just think he is fed up. Plus like many people said....he was used to the old FIA Formula 1. Not as many aids.....different engines, plus next year no tyre heaters. All these small changes add up to a person who was used to the formula 1 being what it was. New drivers who are used to changes like Kimi, and Alonso.

not gonna lie, new f1 pales in comparison to the f1 of the 90s and 80s...even damon hill is disgusted at the current state of f1

Everybody is.....as soon as they took away the turbos.....turned to shit

its because everyone thinks the turbos are more expensive i personally like NA engines myself, like what the IRL is running

fuck that shit.......Formula 1 is ment to be a "no holds bard" car battle with the most technologically advanced cars in the world. They are being limited.......i think taking away the driver's aids are a great idea. But i think taking away the v12s, and the turbos...well that is bullshit. No to mention the FIA favoring drivers and teams like ferrari and hating drivers and teams like Mercedes and Montoya.

f1 hasnt had turbos for over a decade

Oh man i remember the days of Damon Hill and Villneuve in the Williams battling it out with Schumaker & teammates. Hell those few years when Hakkinen and Coulthard owned in Mclaren were still fun to watch, since the 2000's though F1 has gone downhill in spectator value

I think the galmour of it has gone to shit. I think people just got bored of seeing Michael winning everying.....now it is getting to be the same thing with Alonso.
The FIA thinks that all these rule changes will make it more interesting.

wow yes it has, and david has the same last name as me...used to be so good, now the Mclarens are alright but not as good as it used to be
before coulthard was senna...that guy kicked ass n would still have the record that schumacher broke last year had senna not died in a huge accident during some race

it was imola 1994, i saw it happen i was like 7....behind jim clark who also tragically lost his life racing, he was the best of all time

yeah but David won in monnaco ( *i think thats how it spelt)....which is pretty good for his age. Team Red Bull is doing not soo bad for their first year. Maybe its cause of their ferrari influence.

TG is here, im going to be having lunch with him tomorrow, because him and my grandpa are tight, i heard that bernie and TG both want to keep the race in indy and make it a viable yearly 3 day event, and try to build up some luster behind it(make it one of the more prestigious races on the schedule, and that are raced in the US), but bernie knowing that he has his head up his ass most of the time, might not agree with that, since he usually wants supreme reign over tracks, and races, something which he'll never get from IMS.
The kansas race is going to be such a better race than USGP
