ive herd good things and bad things about center mounting, heres my thing: i live in pennsylvania, so not much pow for me so im usualy slaping in icy parks is centre mounting good or bad for me. im looking for a mainly park ski but if its gonna be like unskiable on ice elsewhere at like holiday valey and seven springs then i dont want it?
center is good for me. i have true center and core center mounts on 2 pair of skis and they work excellent. true center is definitly better for park for me though. it just makes it that much of a difference.
i have my mad tric mounted at true center and they ski amazingly, if u land backseat than u can stay up better and there easier to spin and i would definitely do it
Center, like said above no reason not too. Its easier on rails, and on spins.
Also powder is fine. Was out west with mine this winter and had NO issues in pow, however I am not doing shit like Shane and the boys, but it worked for me fine in the pow of PC.
I mounted my 180cmar5's this season at +7.5...compared to suggested 171 1080's...and switch and everything jib related, by it switch, bonks, jibbing, airs, all of it, was way easier and way more fun. Skiing 3 foot pow was a pain in the ass though.
But, you ski PA, and didn't make mention of taking ski trips either...so, yes. Centermount.
all of my skis are center mounted. i see no difference all mountain between center and back mounted skis. i would recommend centermounting cause you live on the east coast.
