seeing them tonight at the marcus ampitheater for summerfest. anybody seen them yet on the tour and if so how was it? and they better be playing some old stuff

I saw tom petty last year and it was honestly the best concert ive been to, and ive been to a lot of shows...literally my whole school is going to see him with the allman brothers in august

the concert was off the meat rack, Pearl jam basically played all of ten. they also played corduroy, betterman, do the evolution. and Petty played pretty much his whole greatest hits cd. I had so much fun, the crowd was going nuts the entire show. Vedder came back out and sang the american girl for the encore with petty, what a good concert.

sick, im seeing him on sunday at the Pepsi Center (CO). I saw him last year too at Red Rocks Ampitheater. THat was a sweet concert. I just wish he was playing at Red Rocks again because the Pepsi Center is shitty for concerts (bad acoustics). Anyway, It's cool that he is touring with pearl Jam. Last year he toured w/ The black Crows which probably won't be as sweet as PJ.

I'm also going to see CSNY july 17. Can't wait for that one. Really I could care less about CSN, but Neil Young is my favorite soloist...besides bob dylan i mean.

i wish i was seeing CSNY soo bad, Neil young is the shit, i saw him on the greendale tour a couple years ago, but CSNY would be the shit, hes coming in september and in that same month roger waters is playing the same venue, tinley park that is

i saw Tom Petty last summer with the Black Crowes and they were both amazing. TP and the Heartbrakers played basically their whole greatest hits album, so everyone knew every word

yeah id never been to summerfest before but it was so cool, it's like one huge fair, theres a ton of food, and its on this whole strip, they even have a chairlift that goes over all of it so you can see all of the stages, and this thursday, string cheese incident, ratdog, and keller williams are playing at the marcus ampitheater
