i need some input on which boots to buy. rite now im lookin at the Dalbello Flexon Kryptons (tanners boot), and the Spk (salomon teams boot). and no i dont want to buy them just because of who wears them im just helping for people.
personally, i've been calling my boots "skiing shoes" the same way you would refer to tennis shoes or basketball shoes, and trying to get that to catch on, but it hasn't worked yet. "kicks" would be a swell alternative, though.
hahahaha jea das da way i talk on and off the net brah! i have went to get my fit fit and evrything ive even tried on the kryptons but i want to know if i should wait or just go for it, kna mean?
i put the soles from a set of skate shoes in that had like gell on the heel and ball of your feet. its so comfy compared to the hard crap boots normaly come with
dude i have. i have never seen the spk so i dont know how it fits. usually salomon boots are good so i wanted to know if anyone had tryed em out. as i said i have tried and demoed the krypton and i like it so far but now that the spk is out...
agreed, on everything except that the dalbellos aren't exactly stiff. they are pretty easy to flex forward a lot, but they have great lateral stiffness.
regardless, you're right, a bootfitter is the only way to really decide which boot is better for you.
yes we saw what you said. you tried the krypton. great! i'm glad you like them. if you think they're dope, buy them, you can't go wrong. however, you only have one half of the COMPARISON, you've tried one of the TWO boots. and if you're reading what WE'VE wrote, you'll see that the only real way to compare these boots is to try them on for YOURSELF, with a bootfitter or on the hill. yay! the end.
yeah softs are super heavy, and mine got sooo uncomfy by the end of the season. but these are redesigned and i dont think theyre gonna be as soft. and theyre white, which is sick
from whawt someone has told me, the spk's forse your legs upright a bit, but once u get used to them they are awesome, other then the forced leg up or wahtever, they are great, jp refered them to be like "hiking boots"
