i know that lifters are supposed to be for all mountain and no lifters are mainly for park, but has any one ever noticed a significant difference while skiing them?
racing....loved as much lift as was allowed, you can carve alot harder cause you get more on edge....for park, i don't see why you would want it at all...
i've skied park skis with lifters and without. i found a pretty noticable difference on rails. i had much more control on rails with my tm's w/o lifters.
it's really on for racing, and if you like to freeski alot. i don't think it would make that big of a difference in the park. are you talking about on your boots or skis?
i skied with lifters on my scratches for a few days and really didnt like the ski in the park, once i went in and got the binding mounted flat to the ski it made a world of difference on jibs and jumps. you get better snow/rail feel without lifters but with them it is eaisier to turn and carve and it helps you to stay away from boot-out (when you are far enough over in a turn that your boot or the buckles drag on the snow)
i agree.. i found it pretty noticable on rails vs. all mountain. depends on how good you ski all mountain and park, you might not notice the difference
ive had both, first time they were put on by accident. wasnt that bad helped a lil all mt i guess. I did like the skis w/o lifters more in the park, but there was a yr in between the two so i couldnt notice alot of the subtle differences
