Ok so my friend brought over some lexan and we made a summer box, while im waiting for my drill to charge i ran my skis over the lexan and it didnt seem slippery, am i supposed to wax it? and if so what type of wax should i use?
uh... i dont know why it isnt slippery. I've used lexan and it's extremely slippery, well, not too slippery but its just like a normal box on a mtn. I'd say once your done building it you should hit it, im sure it'll slide nicely. Dont mess with it until you hit it a couple times, and if you do do anything only put water on it, i'm sure that waxing it would only make it slower.
and when you wet it with water, just get like a wet rag and run it over the lexan. if you just start soaking the thing with a hose it'll get your wood wet and the wood will warp and maybe even rot!!
