who here like dmb? i was recently introduced to them by my cousin and i love them now, there so nice, im going to the show in atl on august 15th and i cant wait. my favorite songs are tripping billies, dancing nancies and ants marching.
Alot of people hate on these guys.. but I think they are really good. The drummer is amazing.. I don't play the other instruments, so I can't tell as well, but I'm sure the other members are just as good.
i love boyd, he is so amazing(he';s the violinist) i love his whole attitude and he is so enthusiatic about playing, and he is super skilled to be able to play the violin like that.
Boyd is musically the least talented in the group. Sure, he adds alot to the band with attitude and chops, but he doesn't play anything terribly difficult, but with it not being a bluegrass band, he doesn't need to; what he plays fits well.
Also, did you guys know that DMB had a second percussionist who played handdrums and such? He died in a (car?) accident and that's why Carter has a HUGE set; so he can pay tribute to/play the second percussionists part. Carter used to play on a 6 piece set.
yea i was noticing that todaY WITH BOYD, but he still is pretty skilled and his attitude is awesome, so i like him, carter is amazing, he so talented and hes always looks so into it, everyone in the band is amazing, stefan is probably my least favorite but i still like him a lot
i went to the umphreys and dave matthews concert last night but didn't have tickets, we tried to sneak in but it was a no go, still a fun time though, he played his older stuff and thats the only stuff i like.
I love them. I'm going to their show this coming Wednesday and in August with Gov't Mule, Slightly Stoopid, and others. I'm so stoked. I grew up on them.
