Anyone have a guinea pig???

im getting like 2 guinea pigs for free and i have no clue what the fuck t do with them anyone here have any suggestions? my moms friend is giving them to me and she said they come with a cage and said theyre easy to take care of but i have no lcue what to do

u feed them and give them water and when the cage gets dirty u clean it out, and if u have a yard build them a pen with chicken wire casue they like going in the grass during the day. thats what i did with mine anyway

what do i use in the bottom of the cage? can i use like shredded paper cuz i have a paper shredder ill just shred newspaper or something

yeah i tried that but she kind of doesnt speak english, my mom is her boss and she speaks spanish (so does my mom) and my mom only got a little bit of info out of her

my friend has some chinchillas. they are awesome. ok so chinchillas are nocturnal and we were hanging out at her house at like 1am after a bonfire. they are freaking hyper.

i used to have one. mine was smart, if it wanted anything it would lean against the side of the cage, and chew on the metal bars making a really loud clanging noise and it got so annyoing you would have to give in to it.
