All I know is that this is gonna cause a lot of controversy in Florida just because of what he did back in Edmonton. I still don't agree with the fact that Bertuzzi was allowed back in the NHL.

nevermind the fact that moore cheap shotted naslund and naslund had to have surgery for the bone chips floating around in his elbow and still has problems with it.
moore didn't deserve THAT, he deserved to be suspended for the hit on naslund, but he's still an asshole.

he didn't intend to break moore's back, it was just very unlucky on both ends, he meant to give him a good hit, but not to break his neck

Your an idiot. Firstly, his back/neck was broken when he hit the ice and was landed on. Sure it was a cheap shot...but bertuzzi and naslund are close. In fact I've even hung out with the two of them together at a bar in vancouver. I get the impression they are good friends beyond teammates. Bertuzzi is an amazing hockey player and his intentions were in no way shape or form to permanently hurt him. An intentional act that had un-intentional consequences.

Shut the fuck up. I bet you've never even seen the incident. If you did, then you're an idiot. Moore slashed a canuck in the throat, bertuzzi punched him, the dude fell and if you're skating fast and you fall, a big fuckin guy like Bert's gona trip too!

NS-SpellChecker is a guy i think. I have a guess as to who it could be, but i am probably wrong. If i remember correctly, the goalie is pretty sick, as is Bertuzzi.

And what about the kid who hit Travis Roy and put him in a wheelchair for the rest of his life? Oh ya, you probably don't even know his name. I'd say that's a bit more traumatizing than breaking a few vertebrae but because the kid wasn't a great like Bertuzzi, you forget about it and bash the next guy to fuck up.

and yes I know that Roy's accident wasn't caused by a cheap shot, but Bertuzzi didn't punch him with the mentallity of "Im gona break Moore's neck!"

most of you idiots dont know shit about hockey. moore was a career ahler and had no future in the nhl, especially after the rule changes. this money hungry shmuck is just trying to cash in. even his parents are trying to sue bertuzzi. id like to point out that carolina forward erik cole had a far worse neck injury than moore and came back to play within months. also, brad isbister broke his neck a few years ago and came back within weeks. concussion issues you say? what about kariya, desjardins, etc
anyway, bertuzzi, auld and allen for luongo and krajicek is a damn good trade for both teams. canucks finally get a franchise tender and from what i hear, a good puck moving defenceman. panthers get one of the best power forwards in the game and someone nathan horton and tony stewart can model their game after. also, a capable goalie(obviously not as capable as luongo) and a young d-man with some promise(unfortunately, no offensive promise)

I hate hockey. But since, like every other Canadian out there, I like to think I'm a fucking general manager, here's a completely useless opinion:
Bertuzzi was done in Vancouver. He needed to go. Vancouver got Luongo for a player that was completely and utterly useless out here, a draft pick, and some other shit. Great. Good for everyone.
And Steve Moore? I have heard more than one surgeon specializing in spinal injuries call him things like "a giant fucking pussy" or "whiny little bitch", or whatever else you can think of. No one deserves to have their neck broken, but shit dude, you're fine, get it together.

Big Bert's gona be amazing in Florida I think. It's just what he needs, is to get out of the spotlight and shine again. Before the incident, he was incredible. Nobody could fuck with him and he could screen any goalie from any angle. He'll be back swinging' (heyohhh!)
