i was wondering if i can get away with a 169 ski in the park if i am 5' 10" about 150 pounds or should i go bigger such as something in the 170's or 180's..thanks for the help
let's go back to the basics, if you're more of an expert skier make sure the skis are at least as tall as your forehead and then you can go as big as you want from there, but don't go any shorter than your forehead
Haha yeah, because there are so many epic pow days in PA... Oh wait, I think we got like 10 inches of snow this year total. And it's heavy and turns to ice in a couple of hours.
since hes starting off, a low/mid 170 would be perfect. but as for anyone good, theres no excuse not to be on a longer ski. im 5"10, 165 lbs, and i ride 183s in the park, and i think those are too short. i have No problem buttering onto tech rails, spinning on, spinning in the air (can whip flat ground 3s around like it aint no thng). they just ski soooo much better as you go bigger. just gotta make shure its a light ski. thats all.
