i take issue with the fact that many of the popular music acts are rewarded so greatly for doing so little. some can sing, and maybe dance. then you have rock bands that are just awefull. how do these people do it? the real injustice is that there are good musicians out there that get no love for their talent. take for instance a concert pianist, or anyone who has really mastered an instrument. the skill level that the top classical musicians posess dwafs the vast majority of the 'musicians' that earn a healthy living in the arena of pop music. i just really wish that the market was there for great musicians to earn as good of a living as the pop acts do. this also makes me greatfull when good bands that are out there (the few that there are) take the time to put out somthing truly unique. this is why i love radiohead, to name one. if all bands had the creativity and musical skill that they do, this world would be a better place. in fact, im sure that there would be an end to poverty, war, and unemployment if there wasnt so much crappy noise poluting the airwaves. i blame all the worlds problems on that. i hereby make a demand that everyone go out of their way to not only recognize the aforementioned statements, but to go out of their way to support the good guys in the music world who are doing it right. everyone stand together against manufactured pop music! make it die!

Those are such idealistic views, they would never ever happen in society today. Capitalism fuels this and we've all heard of how the attempts at communism have worked out. You describe utopia- and we don't live in one. If everyone were rewarded for exactly what they gave to society...the world would be a much different place
